Nice to see you in my corner!
First, feel free to have a look at my profile to get an impression of whom you're dealing with,

Note:.....When you want to view my posts (blog, photos, video, calendar, reviews, market, recipes, and links), do click on each of the boxes above and browse there! I've hidden them, so that the main page wouldn't be so full, but everything is still completely available for everyone.

......There's a 27-year-old female from Finland and you've just popped in to her corner on the net and started reading her story; rich, unique, individual, happy... and worth reading, which you'll discover when getting on. This lady lives in Helsinki and is a happy, sociable, and free-spirited soul as well as open-minded and always up to a lot. She loves life and lives every second of her life at the fullest. She's sad too, as she's human-being like anyone else, but she's learned life is too short to be wasted to being sad or angry or bitter or envious or anything else like that. She's taken in a strong good positive attitude a long time ago and it makes her life brighter... happier... easier... more comfortable... sincerely good. She's learned it's always worth it, even if it might be hard. Experience has taught her some valuable lessons in time and in different occasions and circumstances. She's not a girl. She a grown-up woman. She considers herself mature and she's been through a lot in her life even if the age itself doesn't probably stand for it yet, not as much as one would probably think at first.
......This She is me, of course. I'm proud to say that because I'm proud of myself and who I am and what I'm like. I'm not a proud boasty type, very far away from it. I don't view myself any better than anyone else. On the other hand, I don't hesitate or feel ashamed of being proud of what I am when there's reason for that.
......I've started using my Multiply site actively on the 15th of October 2007 even if the site was set up eight days earlier, on the 7th in the same month; I needed the few days for "moving". I came from Yahoo 360 for its too many weak parts and technical trouble. So, I was a Yahoo 360 Refugee, as they say.
I'm here for staying in touch with friends; both old and new. I've discovered several times how much I can do on Multiply. I've tried several places on the net and so far none of them has beaten Multiply.
......One can find a lot of information of me on this site, in my profile, blog, pictures, links, reviews, calendar, video clips, news, recipes... they all give and share something about me. My entries are mostly, as I love and truly enjoy writing and expressing myself in that way, full of my thoughts. I enjoy discussing and discovering. I love learning and I value what I can learn from others. Opinions are what I value. Difference is a richness, and any good discussions and sharings would always be welcome to this little corner in the world.

Hello Tiina in Finland

Hi Tiina,

We are now in the middle of a particularly nasty political campaign for the November reelection of our President and the cleaning up of congress. I have been reading many of the comments being made online, especially on Yahoo. Two things strike me, first, between the old Yahoo 360 and the current format, the American participants have really "dumbed-down", if that's even possible. The other thing is that I am continually reminded of a quotation from Albert Einstein.

"Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former."
- Albert Einstein (1879-1955)

Wishing you an especially nice weekend with some lovely May weather.

Happy Friday to you Tiina and wishing you a good weekend.
Thank you for stopping by, Frank! I hope you have a relaxing Sunday coming up!
It's been so sunny and pretty outside and the weekend has been relaxing as well. The trees are coming into leaf and it's so nice to see the fresh green all around.
